How to use Offset to Add a Name to a Pattern

A customer recently requested an item with a chevron pattern and a name.  I've seen many use an offset or shadow layer to apply a name over top of a chevron or other pattern.  Instead, I created an offset space between the pattern and the name.  In this tutorial I show you how to accomplish the task using several basic commands and tips. You can save this file as an SVG, import it into Design Space or other software and use your die-cutting machine to cut the image out of materials such as ORACAL 651 vinyl, Siser EasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl, Printed Pattern Vinyl and more.
